311

a few things to say if you are a chiropractor be a chiropractor and keep your prego self out of the classroom.

So A little up date next week is spring break so this week is NoBreak. I feel like i've been on the go since Monday morning i've either been in science 311 or the conference room in the library, or study hall which is where my life has been controlled by a 3 foot desk and a squeaky chair.

Now you may be asking yourself "if you are so busy why are you blogging?" That is an excellent question which i have an answer for. I just recently finished my 8 page nutrition analysis paper, where most people would go do something fun, like have a shaving cream war, or water balloon the lesbians on Clewell patio. I sit and blog to my family so they know what is going on in my life. (martyr?) I also thought i would share some of my recently found favorite quotes.

"I love the smell of Napalm in the morning... it smells like VICTORY!" -thank you to University of North Carolina women soccer team.
"A captain is someone who leads stretching, a leader is someone the team looks to in crunch situations and wants the ball with the game on the line." -Coach Miller
"Out of every team in this tournament including my own, your team plays the most like Brazilians." -Said to Anson Dorrance by Brazil's coach in the China Women World Cup.

"Did you miss the part when i said that should be a sprint?" "Get your knees in your chest when you go over that cone!" "You are not swinging a tennis racket, you don't just swing in the general direction of the ball and magically hit it. Keep your head in, chin tucked, and throw your hands at the ball!" "Given the choice between a righty and a lefty always pick a lefty" "Bring a spoon there's a good chance it will be chilly" "do you know what hit and run means?" "Ty quit saying what." ... "oh your name's not Ty..." -Thank you Coach Long

It's softball season. :)

I KNOW THIS CAN'T BE TRUE

I know this may sound silly but the other day I came across some news that I hope very much is true. HOWEVER if something important happened in my life i of course would call and tell my family. I wouldn't just let them find out via facebook conversations with other peeps. (yes besides foosball I facebook stalk my siblings) I guess what i'm trying to say is Chase quite pocket dialing me, and KATE AND ROSS i know you two have HUGE information for me and yes i do indeed expect a phone call from you telling me your BIG NEWS.

Midge remember that night when the whole house was silent and no one was up, except this horse? freaky. oh and Hey Brice-man you are a stud. with those little muscles of yours.

This is me and my mentor Latricia after our Fall Fest skit. Yes i'm quite proud of the poster she is holding.

This is the guy that took the pictures of me in the boots that you all don't like. His name is Ian Holman Briscoe; he is a liberal democrat. He talks a whole lot of smack and beat me in a foot race.

Decisions

A while ago i called our mother dearest and was asking her to work through my latest decision with me. The choice between Track and Softball. (i know hard choice). After talking with Mum i've come to the decision to do both. My reasoning is Softball is fun, I have friends who play and i think it would be good to play again (provided i make the team). However, if my teammates all turn out to be lesbians in the first couple of weeks i may locate myself elsewhere. something about softball in college brings everyone out of the woodwork. (uck) TRACK however, Jay is the coach and is kinda making it mandatory for soccer players so i didn't have a choice on that one. I have been thinking about positives to this i'll be in shape for summer... ???

V-Day, Elder Bringhurst, School

Single Awareness Day was Monday. Until 1:00 i was pretty confident i was single, until i received two dozen pink tipped white roses. The culprit...? i have no idea who, however the positive is i have three dozen roses smelling up Kells and my room. (the other dozen came from Patrick). So roses mean different things (i had no idea) so here is a little info for you.

red passion, love, respect, courage, congrats

Red roses are the traditional symbol for love and romance, and a time-honored way to say "I love you." The red rose has long symbolized beauty and perfection. A bouquet of red roses is the perfect way to express your deep feelings for someone special.

pink rose

pink romance, admiration, sweetness

As a symbol of grace and elegance, the pink rose is often given as an expression of admiration. Pink roses can also convey appreciation as well as joyfulness. Pink rose bouquets often impart a gentler meaning than their red counterparts.

yellow welcome, welcome back, friendship, caring, joy

The bright, sunny color of yellow roses evokes a feeling of warmth and happiness. The warm feelings associated with the yellow rose are often akin to those shared with a true friend. As such, the yellow rose is an ideal symbol for joy and friendship.

white rose

white innocence, purity, secrecy, worthiness

White roses represent innocence and purity and are traditionally associated with marriages and new beginnings. The white rose is also a symbol of honor and reverence, and white rose arrangements are often used as an expression of remembrance.

orange rose

orange desire, enthusiasm, pride

With their blazing energy, orange roses are the embodiment of desire and enthusiasm. Orange roses often symbolize passion and excitement and are an expression of fervent romance. A bouquet of orange roses will send a meaningful message.

 lavender roses

lavender Deep Adoration, Majestic, Opulent

The unique beauty of the lavender rose has captured many hearts and imaginations. With their fantastical appearance, lavender roses are a perfect symbol of enchantment. The lavender rose is also traditionally used to express feelings of love at first sight.

BTW (by the way) Reed was transferred after spending 7 1/2 months in Winston-Salem he is now heading to Charlotte to the Carmel ward. We dropped him off at his transfer meeting, and picked up the new elder from Mesa, AZ.
