The Day Before The Night Before

My beautiful Wife

and the photographer did an excellent job with this photo I might add

Today we got to go down to Salt Lake and walk around the Gateway mall where there were thousands of last minute shoppers and plenty of people-watching to be had, including Brooks' long lost brother who flipped out when he saw a giant Angry Birds display.

We also went to Temple Square where we watched "The Prophet of the Restoration." Which was way more intense then I remember and Tia cried the whole time. Then we spent the rest of the evening walking around Temple Square and seeing all the awesome lights! The blue ones were my favorite. We are definitely decorating our house with some sweet blue lights next year.

Anyways I hope you guys all enjoyed the day before the night before. Have a Merry Christmas!

For Now Apt A1

Back again to Cold Country. I love my husband, he is always so willing to agree to things like speaking in church in January. I'm happy to say I will speak first and we all know what that means and I now have a month to prepare, now if I only had my topic. . . The trip back was eventful once we hit Provo. We found ourselves surrounded by not-so-great drivers which almost caused an accident but once again Zack is an amazing driver and we BARELY missed the car that swerved into our lane. Some of you may be thinking man that's a long drive and it is. Zack and I have a new game it's called "Let's name our kids". It is always entertaining. Upon reaching our steak sauce apartment I was warned to put on a sweater which I ignored as we quickly unloaded the car and went into our home which is usually a pleasant 73 degrees... it was 55 when we came in and then the vents blew cold air. This didn't strike me as a problem until I needed to brush my teeth and had to stand on the frozen tile, or put on my cold sweat-pants, or hop into our usually really cozy bed. Having dealt with cold beds before I plugged in my blow dryer and warmed it up much to Zack's amusement. So that's what's new Zack is working I'm browsing recipes like a sophisticated house wife, and updating my blog for you peeps.

Preview of things to come: McKee Christmas Party is Sunday, a video of A1, my latest cooking endeavors, pictures recently acquired from Jordan Ha and sledding.
