  1. Okay Tia, this is the first thought that comes to mind when I see your topic. Hopefully it makes sense as seeing I am slightly (really) tired.

When you go to the temple there is the most awesome feeling there. You walk through those doors and leave the world behind. All the stress, problems, etc don't seem so bad because you leave it at the door and walk into the most calm peaceful feeling. Just being in the temple brings peace to your soul.
Hopefully we strive everyday to bring that same peace you feel in the temple to our homes. Some days it's easier than others. Our attitudes can help determine if that peaceful feelings is in our homes. If we are constantly fighting, bickering, ridiculing others and just being plain ornery it is hard to feel the spirit there. One of my favorite ways to make my home feel as close to the temple as I can is to play hymns in the background as we go about our day.
One other thought...our homes should be a haven away from the world, just like the temple is for those that are able to go inside. I want my family to feel just as safe and at peace in my home as I do when I go to the temple. Those are the two places that we can shut the world out. We don't have to let all the extra noise in.

Hopefully you can decifer what I am trying to say. Good luck with your talk AND your lesson.
