CVD

CVD yes I meant to put CVD not DVD. Not that movies are not amazing but CVD is what I'm taking a break from writing about. CVD cardiovascular disease or just straight up heart disease is mainly caused by something called Atherosclerosis. I was just tested on this in Nutrition, hearing and learning about stuff like this makes me want to be a heart surgeon, and then I remind myself that i'm not good with hearts. Anyways Atherosclerosis is the formation of plaque in your arteries. (Which is why they designed stints.) The problem with Atherosclerosis is its a peek a boo disease that fools our bodies into thinking its something else. That something else is Chronic Inflammatory Disease which is taken care of, like most inflammation, by white blood cells called Macrophages. Here in lies the problem, these Macrophages can not process (get rid of) all of the plaque or (LDL Cholesterol LDL-CHO ) so these Macrophages take in all of the LDL-CHO and then burst sending plaque all over the artery wall. But since the body reads the disease as Inflammation it keeps sending the Macrophages to the "inflamed" site thus provoking the cycle.

k i'm done being a nerd.
